RED CEDAR FARMS 2024 INFORMATIONAL INTRODUCTION LETTER:
Thanks so much for your interest in this amazing breed, and in me as a
responsible breeder!! We live in Hutchinson, MN (just an hour west of the cities)
and have been raising puppies for
over 30 years. We adore our puppies, and our goal is to find, for each of
them, a home where they will be well loved and cared for!
Daddy (Barney) is a beautiful AKC Registered Golden Retriever and our mommies
are AKC registered Standard poodles from the Majestic line, so our puppies
are F1 Standards. Our parents are calm, well behaved, smart, healthy,
affectionate dogs, and their puppies are really quite something!
Our dogs LOVE water, retrieve, are easy to train, and
love to learn! Several of our doodles are being used for Therapy dogs,
and several others are competing in field and trial competitions.
They love all ages of people and do very well with other dogs.
We offer a two year guarantee on anything congenital or
hereditary (HD included), although because of the hybrid vigor of this
breed, we’ve had very few issues over the years we have bred this amazing
Goldendoodle breed. We’ve also been very pleased with the “oh my goodness
our dog doesn’t shed at all” response we have received back from the
owners of our puppies. Our puppies’ coats tend to lean toward the “wavy”
instead of the spiral curls you see in a poodle.
Most of our puppies end up between 45-55#, although we have had some
in the 40# range and a some in the 60# range, and between 20-23″ at
the shoulder. You can certainly request a certain “look”, and based on
our years of raising doodles can help you find that match for your family.
Colors range from fairly light cream to very dark red.
Our prices in 2024 will be $2000 for our puppies. Again, we offer a two year health guarantee,
as well as having them up to date on their shots when they leave here at 8 weeks of age.
All our puppies are individually vet checked before they leave for their new homes.
We are licensed and inspected yearly by the State of Minnesota.
We are expecting two spring litters this year.
In reserving a puppy from an upcoming litter, we require a letter of
introduction. Your letter should include information about your
family and any past dog owner
experiences you may have had, your contact information, and any puppy
preferences you may have (male/female,
size, color etc.) along with a deposit of $250 sent to Red Cedar Farms,
22023 Walden Ave., Hutchinson, MN 55350. Once your deposit arrives,
you may “roll” that deposit as many times as you would like until it ends
up on a litter that works for you. We never want a puppy to go home to
a family that isn’t ready for it! A deposit is your guarantee
that I will not place the puppy/dog of your choice with someone else.
Your deposit also serves as my guarantee that you will be purchasing a
puppy, therefore your deposit is non-refundable.
Puppies need to be in their 8th week before
we allow them to leave. We are dedicated to helping you decide which
puppy from the litter will best fit into your family, but the final decision
is yours.
