Barkley

Hi Dede and Happy New Year to you.

Barkley is doing great , thought I would just let you know what is happening in his life. He is almost 7 months old. He is just under 50 pounds and was “fixed on last Friday. He did great.

He is confused since he is now broken , so how can it be called fixed ??? We did a 5 week puppy socialization class , he had a great time. We have done 3 private sessions with a certified trainer …. She thinks he is GREAT. !! She recently told me that she has known what she considered 3 great therapy dogs and thinks that Barkley will be the 4th. !

Saturday we start an outdoor adventure class , should be fun and on the 14th of Feb. we start a basic obedience class. Barkley is with our 2 year old granddaughter in this photo. They are a pair together. She doesn’t like him to touch her toys …. Or his toys either.

He is good with her , still excited when she arrives. For the most part , he is calm. I am really enjoying him. !!!! I have thought maybe in a year or so I would like to get him a friend , certainly will be from you guys if I get another Goldendoodle.
